Registry Instructions
The following information is for self-registration.
If you are a lawyer or notary public who wants to register for your clients, you can apply to be authorized as a Registration Agent. There is no fee for authorization. The log-in page for Registration Agents is different than for self-registration.
If you have a registration in the old system – before June 2014 – DO NOT create a new account. We transferred records from the old system (where the Nidus ID was 3 or 4 numbers) to the new online system. Please email registry@nidus.ca to get the new Nidus ID.

Need to Revoke an existing registration?
Are you revoking (cancelling) a Personal Planning document that is registered? First you need to legally revoke the document; then you can register it. (For procedures and a form, click on Information in the top blue menu bar > select Representation Agreement or Enduring Power of Attorney > Revoking)
Register the revocation, then register your new Personal Planning document.
If you do not register a revocation for an existing registration, it will still show up in a Search. When you register a revocation, it will replace the previous document. Select ‘Notice of Revocation’ under Registration Options. (Click link below for screenshots and instructions.)
