Registry Info
DO NOT send any paperwork by regular mail or email to Nidus. The Registry system is online for you to do-it-yourself.
Want to register for yourself or helping someone else?
- Read FAQ and fees at online Nidus Registry – https://nidusregistry.ca/
- Click Sign Up button – create a Registry Account. Use the name of the person being registered, not in the name of someone helping. Personal identifiers are for person being registered.
- At the Welcome page – scroll down to Registration Options. You can register a Personal Information Record immediately – online. Other registrations require that you create something first – for example make a Representation Agreement in hard copy, then register it. (Go to Legal Planning Documents in BC to find out about forms.)
- Click Personal Information Record if registering information and details to help in a crisis – like contact information for doctor or pharmacy or financial advisor; list of allergies, financial institutions; emergency contacts.
- If registering a legal document like Representation Agreement or type of power of attorney, select from the list and follow instructions.
- Click Other Documents to store copy of insurance policy, trip itinerary, medication chart, current Will, contracts and more. You can replace stored document if make new version.

- If you have a Nidus ID with 3 or 4 numbers, please email registry@nidus.ca to get a new Nidus ID (7 numbers).
