Do you need help getting started or understanding which document is right for you or someone you are helping?
Do you have questions about your role as a representative or monitor?
Nidus does not provide drop-in services. Nidus offers 25 minute appointments for personal help. The appointments are for information. We do not give legal advice. Appointments can:
- answer your questions about personal planning
- help you determine which documents you need and where to get the legal forms
- provide tips for using a Representation Agreement at the bank, hospital or government agency

As a charitable organization, Nidus provides free resources for self-help through the website and personal assistance by appointment for a modest fee. Nidus is the only centre of practice, knowledge and excellence in Representation Agreements. We are very grateful for your donations to our charity – enabling us to help you and yours, today and in the future.
Phone Appointment – we call you

Click the telephone icon on this page or the title ‘phone appointment.’ It will take you to the online booking page. Look at the times listed under the ‘Available’ tab.
Do NOT click the button on booking page to download or get started (that is just an ad, not part of the appointment system).
After you book it is saved for you. Only book ONE time. Check your email for confirmation. If you need to cancel or postpone, please let us know asap as your booking is reserved until cancelled.
Nidus does not receive funding for this service, which is why dates depend on staff availability.
Payment must be received prior to the appointment time you booked; details below.
FEES*
The fee is $35.00 or sliding scale for low-income (mention reduced fee in comment section of booking form). There are no refunds. Payment can be made by the following options:
- Cheque — made out to Nidus. Must be received a few days prior to the date. Please include a note so we can match it to your appointment.
- PayPal — we will email you a link which will take you to a secure site where you can pay online by credit card or your PayPal account. (You do not have to set up a PayPal account if paying by credit card.)
*Nidus does not receive funding for this service, the fee helps cover some of the cost to provide these appointments. No one can book if you have booked a time – let us know if you need to cancel so someone else can have the time slot.
