For end-of-life? For incapacity? For your future?
Nidus offers free monthly webinars—online presentations—as listed below.
The webinars provide general information for the public and professionals. Nidus can provide customized webinars for specific groups and specific topics. There may be a fee for this service.
Webinars are viewed online using a computer or mobile device with audio capability—be sure your speakers and volume are turned on. More at end of regular webinar list.
You can watch the presentations individually or as a group. We allow time at the end for Q&A.
Monthly webinars on Wednesdays — FREE
Check below for a list of locations where you can watch Nidus webinars.
“Very informative…covering the confusion that’s out there among professionals regarding RA7 & RA9…. and documents we thought were legal, like DNR are not…, great job educating the legal profession and health care.”
“Very good…understanding the differences between Rep Agreement, Power of Attorney, and Enduring Power of Attorney.”
1st Wednesday – DEMO OF THE PERSONAL PLANNING REGISTRY

2nd Wednesday – PLANNING FOR HEALTH CARE & PERSONAL CARE
Rights of patients to give or refuse consent. How to plan if you can’t speak for yourself? Legal documents such as Representation Agreements and Advance Directives. Informal tools such as a living will, MOST form or DNR. How does medical assistance in dying fit?
4th Wednesday – PLANNING FOR FINANCIAL & LEGAL MATTERS
Enduring Powers of Attorney or Representation Agreement for routine finances – avoid losing your rights and personhood through adult guardianship. Find out which one fits and the limits of a Power of Attorney and Bank Power of Attorney.
NOTE: We use the Citrix GoToWebinar platform for online presentations. You will be required to download a small secure program onto your computer or laptop in order to view and hear the webinars. (This applies for each webinar – also for Nidus as the organizer.) You may need access to the ‘Admin’ user on your system to say yes to the download. After you register, you will receive an email about the system requirements. Organizations should check with your IT department if you are having difficulty as they may need to exempt the program from firewall settings. You can also watch on a tablet or mobile phone.
